Please
meet us at Serious Fun shop on 39
Camp Street 15 minutes before the trip. We can also
pick you up from your Hotel/Backpackers. Please tell
your booking agency where you would like to be picked
up. |

your swimmers, and a sense of adventure! |
| Minimum Age: |
8 years old - Serious
Fun is the only River Surfing company in town taking
kids under 12 on the river. We bring an extra guide
for under 12 year olds. |
| Safety: |
100% Safety record
since 1989. Maximum of 10 clients between two guides.
Large groups can be easily catered for. |
| Departures: |
Twice daily: Morning
9 am and afternoon 2 pm. Both 4 hour round trips with
1.5 to 2.5 hours in the water. See “ The
Trip” for information about the full day trip
and River- surfing/Bungy Combo. |
| Gear: |
We provide a 5 mm
wetsuit, neoprene booties, life jacket, fins, helmet
and a bodyboard. |
| Conditions: |
By definition, adventure
is an activity whose outcome is uncertain. Although
Serious Fun is operated by the most experienced riverboarding
guides in the world there still remains a degree of
risk and the operator can not absolutely guarantee participant’s
safety. Serious Fun can not be held responsible for
personal injury or for equipment lost or damaged. We
reserve the right to cancel or amend any trip due to
river, road, weather and safety conditions. Guides’
instructions must be adhered to at all times. |
| Cancellation Policy: |
Cancellations within 24 hours of trip
departure are not refundable.
Trips may be cancelled by us due to weather or river
conditions. |
